By Rail: Regular bus/rail connections to Lyme Regis from London Waterloo (Axminster the local rail station is 6 miles from Lyme Regis). There is also a bus/rail connection from Heathrow Airport via Woking to Axminster (4 hours)

By Coach: At all times of the year, National Express Coaches operate between major cities and towns and nearby Exeter, Taunton and Weymouth. By Bus: The Coastline X53 service goes to Lyme Regis from Exeter and Bournemouth. The 31 Bus services routes between Taunton and Weymouth, passing through Lyme Regis. This bus stops at Axminster Railway Station. Regular buses also run to and from Lyme Regis from surrounding towns.
